For the last week or so, I had a small pimple on the upperside of my shaft, near the base of my penis. The pimple had a black center, and I figured it was an ingrown hair or blackhead. Yesterday, I picked at it a little, and it came out of place, then I used tweezers to remove it. A very tiny amount of bleeding. I put antibiotic ointment on it.

Since this morning, my penis shaft, the center-left side (on the top, near where the pimple was) has puffed up completely. It looks swollen basically, hurts a little bit when I touch it. By puffing I mean how we look after getting a needle at the dentists.

Any idea what this could be? Does this sound like any sort of STD?

Stupid me did not sterlize the tweerz before using them...could this have contributed?

Also, it's odd because it's only the area that I applied the antibiotic Ointment to that has puffed up. What I used it called "Bacitracin Zinc and Polymyxin B".
