On my lower back(tailbone), I was itchy one night and was itching it. The following morning, I woke up and felt red bumps in the exact spot that I was itching.
It's irritable and now stings. It's now also itchy and has slight discolouring(puple/grey?) in the centers of the bumps.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what this can be? Has anyone ever had this before?

Is that the only spot the rash is located? Is it in a line? If it is in a line, it may be poison ivy. I would go to a skin doctor if it continues.

It's only in one spot and in a thick line. Not like, single dots but almost a diamond?
