 Red, itchy knuckle
I wonder if someone can answer this for me. On my right hand, the knuckle of my index finger is red and itches like crazy. I put hydrocortizone cream on it, but it doesn't seem to have any effect. It goes away seemingly on its own, but comes back later on. I've never had this problem before I started this new job, but I can't imagine what would be causing it. If it's irritation from soap, shouldn't it be bothering every part of my hand? Why just the knuckle?
If I have my hand open and flat, but raise my index finger, the red area throbs (it looks like it has a heartbeat). None of my other knuckles throb when I lift them, so I don't know what is going on.
