help with daughter skin problem - Skin Problems Message Board

Every few weeks my daughter gets this red patch under her eye to about her cheek area. The first day it is really painfully she said it burns ( it looks like a really bad sun burn) the second and third day it is still sore and it looks like someone punched her in the eye. almost like a black eye. It lasts for about 4 days.

has anyone ever had this before.

It almost sounds like an allergic reaction to something. maybe something she is eating, or something in the house? I'm not really sure, but that is what I thought of when you mentioned that. I haven't had a problem like that before though. Maybe a doctor could tell you what it is. Good luck
