 Dermabrasion and Dark skin?
I have acne scars on my temples...it looks like my skin is bumpy, but its really smooth. I want to get dermabrasion to get the colour even again.
BUT, my dermatologist insists that I not get it done because it can permanently discolour dark skin (I'm of Indian descent). He says it would be better for women because they can cover it up with makeup if discolouration DOES occur, but wouldn't recommend it for a guy.
Anyone know how likely it is that I would get discoloured skin as a result of dermabrasion? Anyone get it done?--What were your results?
