New treatment options for psoraisis - Skin Problems Message Board

Has anyone tried the newest treatments - Embrel or Ambiveve? My derm says to try Embrel for my skin psoraisis, but it is so expensive. Before I waste my money, I would like to hear from anyone who has tried either, and what their experience was. I'm very fair skinned and she says the light treatments would be dangerous for me. The creams didn't work either. Any imput would be appreciated.

I tried many a thing over the years for my psoriasis and the only thing that cleared it up was going to a tanning salon. It's worth a try.

Thanks for the imput. I am afraid of the tanning salons, because I went once in June, for 5 minutes, and burnt my skin so bad! I couldn't wear a bra for 4 or 5 days! My derm said that sunburns can make your psoriasis spread and get worse.
I really don't know what to do.
