Angry extremely hard to wake up in the Mornings(nothing can wake me up)anyone else?

[IMG]K, here goes my story even as a child my mother would have to carry me into a bathtub of warm water to wake me up and get me to school every single morning and have to get up hours before time to leave because it would take me at least a hour in the tub to finally wake up. I am still like this I cant keep a job and can hardly get my daughter off to school this is a real problem because my husband will have to sit me up and hold me sometimes to awaken me and some mornings the only way he can wake me is to cuss me out for an hour and then when I do wake up I feel so hateful I know what I am feeling its such a severe sleepiness feeling. Thing is I would probably be able to solve this myself if this had not went on my whole life and I am not a morning person for sure, it is a battle to stay up with my two year old through the day I crave sleep like nothing else. I know I am not depressed because I am on Lexapro and doing wonderful but does not help this problem at all.. I even make sure I get at least nine hours of sleep but I am guilty of staying up late sometimes but this has been a life time of cant take this no more. Please anyone with this problem?

If you were left to wake up naturally, how long would you sleep? Maybe you need more time asleep? One of my children was like this. He couldn't wake up to go to the bathroom, so he wet the bed quite a long time. He finally "outgrew" it, along with the help of some alarm system gadgetry, too. Are you able to wake up for bathroom needs?

Thanks for your reply, I never had any trouble waking to use the bathroom, mom said even through potty training when I was small I would wake her up to go to use the bathroom. However now that I am older I have noticed that I wake up hurting in my abdomine and lower back all to realize I hold my urine through the night and upon wakening I will go to the bathroom and the pain is releaved so I think I dont wake when I have the urge to urinate at night. I do know that I am deaf to alarm clocks I dont hear them at all even the most irritating loud ones. This is sure a BIG problem between me and my husband, and he has left to work because he was unsuccessful waking me and sometimes I will get up on my own and sometimes I dont therefore my daughter sometimes will be late for school. But even going to bed early doesnt help. I cant hold down a job unless it is third shift and the first shift jobs I worked I would almost kill myself rushing to work and would be sleepy all day. I dont know maybe there is just no help for this. I looked up all the sleep disorders and none of them add up to me.

I am sorry I do suffer sleep Paralysis and this could possibly be why I cant stimulate myself enough to wake up or anyone else for that matter. I wish I could get a doctors help or tests run but I have no health insurance so thats that.
