Looking for some answers concerning athletics and narcalepsy(sp?). If a child was diagnosed with narcalepsy, had a 504 plan that dealt with the situation in school, would he/she be released by a doctor to play athletics?
Looking for some answers concerning athletics and narcalepsy(sp?). If a child was diagnosed with narcalepsy, had a 504 plan that dealt with the situation in school, would he/she be released by a doctor to play athletics?
I think it would depend on the child, the doctor, and the sport. As long as the child would not be in any danger, I see no reason for them not to be released.
