| Wide eye, very allert and communicating, but asleep?? What is this called?
When my girl friend is trying to sleep or has to get up to go to the bathroom is very drowsy in appearance and doesn't want to say much. But at times, she jolts up, wide eye, and able to communicate. Sometimes she walks. I have learned that she is asleep during all that. In the night if she is awake, she is drowsy in appearance. The next morning, when I ask her about these durations, she has no clue. She only has some memory if the duration of the conversation lasted like 5 minutes. But only the tail end does she remember. And, you know she is waking up at the end because she starts to become drowsy in appearance vs being wide eye and super alert.
