Yup!! That sounds exactly like what I do - My wife did have one cure that lets her sleep like a baby - I always "rock" one way also (To the left), so she bought a california king sized bed, and put me on the left side - She also got one of those matresses that you can jump on one side and it doesn't move the other side. This has helped alot. When we had a queen sized bed, she would have to tell me to stop 4-5 times per night, which made me angry, because I really am unaware I do it...
I'm like your husband in that I started it when I was about 9 months old and never stopped. I do it every night, and the more stress I have the harder I rock - sometimes to the point I wake up sore...
I think the name of the condition is something Jacatio Cranius Nocturnus?...

Lately he's not rocking as much, but begun to grind his teeth REALLY badly. Bad enough to wake me up. It's this horrible squeeking noise, just like fingernails on a chalkboard. |
