| jolting, buzzing and vibrations !!??
Hi all,
I started peri-menopause when I was 42 and then started with small sleeping problems. By the time I was 45 I started having very serious problems. Jolting awake on sleep onset, or had a buzzing cyclical vibration in my head and/or up and down my spine while asleep. This went on for three years, with little relief during the cycles. I entered menopause at the age of 48 and symptoms started to lessen, a little, then a lot. Ambien helped a lot. But I still get a lesser form of the buzzing vibration in my neck and head while asleep. It is a very sickening and scary feeling, plus I never wake up refreshed and often with headaches. I've had a sleep study done, brain scans, spine scans, etc. All came back negative.
Can any one relate to this? Is there any relief? K...
