Cholesterol Meds & Sleep Problems - Sleep Disorders Message Board

Hello. Have posted on other boards, but new to this one. Has anyone heard of statin drugs causing sleep problems. I'm on 10/80 Vytorin. Have no problems falling asleep, awake 4-5 hrs. later, then a heck of a time getting back to sleep. I also have a very bad habit of falling asleep in front of the TV. I know this doesn't help but can't believe that's the main reason for my problem. Have found these boards very helpful, hope someone has some thoughts.

Interesting! Through my own fault I was a couple of days without my Zocor. Had no sleeping problems. However, now that I am taking it again I am having insomnia.
