Hey everyone, first off I would like to say I love this site its so helpful and everyone is nice and willing to help, it's great!!!
[Brief History On Me]: I have had sleeping problems ever since I was a little child. I use to sleep walk on a regular basis up until I was 10 or 11 years old. So every time I woke up I was always exhausted. In my teenage years I started not being able to sleep for long periods of time. I then could sleep usually in 3-4 hour intervals and then would take an 1- 2 hours trying to get back to sleep. So of course I was never a happy morning person. As I get it just gets worse. I have tried ambien up to 10mg and they don't even work for me. My sleeping patterns now are I sleep when I get tired, If I am lucky. I don't drink coffee or eat any sugar or anything that would keep me awake. When I get to sleep I sleep for an hour and sometimes less before I wake up. I am always tired. So on top of almost not sleeping completely I get really bad dreams. They take over my sleep and wake me up to the point were I am almost crying. I feel sick all day and like I wanna cry and I can never get the dreams out of my head. The worse ones I have are usually of my hubby cheating on me. I know its nothing I should worry about since I literally see him 24-7 and we are never separated, but why do I dream it every night?? (I have always been able to remember my dreams and I can always tell it in full colored detail. I have had weird dreams where stuff came true, like friends getting hurt or littles that happen in like a deja vu sense.) I also have chronic knee pain for a little over a year now and will be having surgery at some point when things are settled with Workers Comp.
Basically what I was wondering if anyone knew what was wrong or knew of a way to help me sleep at night and for long periods of time. Any help at all would be great since I haven't ever slept any solid amount of time in my life. PS If you need anymore info about my situation please feel free to ask
