I have had sleeping disorders almost all of my life sleep such as sleep parlysis, livid dreaming, and even things that I can't explain or haven't found answers for. I have had this happen to me once or twice. Did you ask your wife about it; if she remember it or not. okay here's what happened to me. I had a friend sleeping over at my house when I was about 17 and she was sleeping in the same bed as me. She told me that she woke up because her face was itching. She put her arm back down and bumped me while I was sleeping. She told me that I grabed her ams and told her not to touch me extreamely rudely. She said that my eyes were wide open and after I screamed at her I layed back down and closed my eyes and nothing else happened. I did not remember a thing and at first thought she was making it up but it has happened once after that. I haven't really tried to figure out why it happened so I am sorry if this wasn't useful to you.
