| Re: Sleep troubles - help!
I would look to anxiety relief.. not medication.. the medications may be making things worse. Keep a sleep log, get a dog or alarm system. Whatever you need for peace of mind. Also look for a way to assure yourself.. like a martial arts class. I am a martial arts instructor and have experience in four different kinds of martial arts. On bad days I hope someone will jump me... Needless to say knowing you can toss a 300 pound man over your head is liberating. I strongly recommend judo or aikido if you can find it.
If this is a new occurance and not something that occured before the man ran through your yard.. then you should not be worried about a physical sleep disorder. One good thought. You woke up and were aware of the man.. thus you could have responded in some form or fashion. It is alright to be nervous and anxious after such an occurance.
Best wishes on pleasant dreams. My husband uses chamomile tea to aide in getting to sleep and having a more restful sleep.. I use the techniques listed in my tips on sleep hygiene post.
Sincerely,
MG
