| Re: ambien or zolpidem
Ambien IS zolpidem! It's the same thing! The only thing that differs between the generic and the name brand is the inactive ingredients. The inactive ingredients of ANY drug don't have any bearing on its effectiveness.
The problem you are having is most likely a psychological one where you have convinced yourself that somehow the generic isn't good enough, and therefore it isn't working. But if you would have started out taking it realizing and knowing and believing that it's the same stuff, just not the flashy name brand that costs more, then you would have had no problems. It's very much a mind over matter issue, and we often talk ourselves into things when they aren't necessarily true. But if you believe it's true, then that's what is going to happen. Yet if you believed it would work as well as the name brand, then that is what would have happened instead. You kind of screwed yourself by having this attitude that it wasn't going to work in the first place. You have to get that thought out of your head and tell yourself that it will work.
Look, I know what I'm talking about, I know Ambien very well as I used to have a professional tie with the company that invented it. Generics are the same exact thing as the name brands with the exception of the inactive ingredients. That is a fact.
