What if I take them all??? - Sleep Disorders Message Board

Has anybody mixed all of the natural sleep aids? I have a bottle of everything Kava, Valerian, 5HTP, Melatonin, and I have taken them all individually but does not really work. I was wondering what would happen if I took all of it at the same time. Does anybody do this? Am I gonna be in trouble if I do it?

Just because they are natural, mixing them together will be trouble. You even have to worry about natural stuff if you take other medication. I would not do it.

I would not do that! It says on the back of the melatonin bottle not to take with other herbal sedatives or medications that cause drowsiness. If you really want to hear it from a professional though call your pharmacy and ask the pharmacist or call you doctor. But I wouldn't do it!
