| Husband suffers from sleep apnea
My 51 yr. old husband suffers from sleep apnea; he literally stops breathing and wakes himself up, on and off through the night. He can sleep sometimes for an hour ok, and then this whole process begins again. When my husband had lost 30 pounds about 4 yr. ago, his sleep apnea was much better, almost non existant. He has put weight again, and the problem is back big time. I am going to add the fact that he has diabetes and high blood pressure. We realize that he is going to have to lose weight again to help with the sleep apnea, but in the process, is there anything that he can do to help him sleep better? Is there a sleeping position for people that suffer from sleep apnea that is best?
