xanax and melatonin together - Sleep Disorders Message Board

I have not been sleeping at night. I was on Lorezapam and moved over to xanax along with melatonin at night. Something increased my heart rate a little and I could not sleep after about 3 hours and stay away the rest of the night. Should I take xanax and melatonin together at night?

try it. Works for me IF I use sublingual Melatonin. The liquid Mela. doesn't work for me nor do the pills you swallow. I also sometimes take L-tryptophan also. It's a real pain to get used to doing this but I have actually more faith in them than I do "sleep studies." Try the combo for a month, you may love it as I do, but then try to stop and you can't . Bad News. It's a real dependency.
