anyone take Remeron or it's generic? - Sleep Disorders Message Board

I have always had problems getting to sleep can't shut my mind off. I started mirtazapine generic for remeron. Only take 1/2 of 15mg & it works good puts me to sleep. You do eat more but since I was so sick last yr & lost so much weight it was good for me. I'm trying to find out if it makes anyone so tired all day next day & brain fog. Thanks

Yes, for me it was the worst sleep medicine I have ever taken. I felt drugged up, head in the clouds, brain very foggy till after lunch. Only took it for about a week and told doctor it had to go.

I have been on many different sleep meds--but it was the worst for me

Thanks alot I stopped as of last night gonna try natural stuff. I don't like feeling so lazy, no energy & brain fog, getting old is hard enough without that!
