Can we rate our sleep meds in one thread?

I'm on Ambian CR, I don't even know what class of meds they are and if most of these newer fancy sounding ones like Lunesta will only have the same half-lifes as Ambian(2-4 hours if I'm remembering right). I'm taking ambian in two spereate doses to get a full nights sleep. I'm looking for just one longeracting sleep aid that's STRONG and is remotely quivanant to the effectiviness of Ambian, taking one pill that would really knock me out allllllll night effectively is my goal. So can anyone said they are on another thing that's awesome for them and maybe can be taken long-term, or even are an older generic for a good price?
