Re: diazepam

Yes I have.
It works rather well but not recommended for long term use
(more than 3 weeks). It's difficult to withdraw from.
IMO Ambien or Zoplicone 7.5 mg may work better.
Ambien is not a benzodiazepine so easier to discontinue.
I sometimes use doxylamine succinate aka Unisom
and works quite well. It's generic unisom for half the price.
Also melatonin works too.
HTH.

Re: diazepam

I don't take drugs to sleep but if I took a valium, it would knock me out!

Re: diazepam

Hi again. Problem is that I need to take 10mg-20mg a day together with gabapentin in order to fall asleep. I cannot fall asleep at all cause of severe chronic pain. I cannot rest my neck on the pillow and I have found that diazepam(valium)makes me sleep 7-8 hours.
With other sleeping pills I was only able to sleep 4-5 hours and that is not enough.

Even with clonazepam I was only able to sleep 4-5 hours. but with diazepam as I said it is 7-8 hours so I feel normal.
I understand it is addictive, so what do you think I sould do?

Re: diazepam

hey hello fitness15, but what about the fact those two (diazepam/valium and clonazepam are addictive?).

Don't they have limit to the amount they are allowed? My doctor said no more than 4mg clonazepam....and I can only sleep on 4mg.

Yesterday I tried again diazepam/valium and that did not help at all. Getting tired of getting tired.

WHy cannot you sleep? PLease tell me.
