Magnesium for Insomnia
Hi everyone. I'm just wondering whether anyone has tried taking magnesium supplements for insomnia and whether you've had any success. I'd also be interested to know what dosage you found to be best.
I've been suffering from insomnia for about 6 months and am probably in the early stages of menopause. My doctor has started me on anti-depressants and valium (a path which I'm not all that comfortable with) but I would prefer to use natural products if at all possible.
I've also started using Melatonin but I can't say I've noticed any benefits as yet. If you use it, what dosage do you use?
A good night's sleep would be a huge bonus, so if anyone has any suggestions I'd be most grateful!!!
