Question Sleep Study for my 10 yr old ?'s

Last week we spent the night doing a sleep study for my 10 yr old son who has Chiari 1 Malformation. I'm looking for answers while I wait for for the results.

The Tech said he got writer's cramp from scoring him all night. He also said he was a night Ninja. But, he gave no other info. My question is if he has sleep apnea wouldn't the tech put him on oxygen? Also, if he had a nocturnal seizure would he come in the room?

I know I should be patient & just wait for results, but I'm one that wants to know right away what we could be looking at. Thanks for any info you can offer on sleep studies & what we might be faced with.

I really appreciate ya'll,
Shelly
