Ambien/Trazodone combo

Hi everyone, I have been on this combination for the last 3 months, 5 mg of ambien and 100mg of traz. I had been on just trazodone before that and have been on it for a total of about 1 1/2 yrs. For the last couple of months I have been waking up at different hours of the night. Sometimes I can fall back to sleep easily, other times I just toss and turn. I have no problems whatsoever getting to sleep initially, which leads me to think that the Ambien is working just fine. Is it possible that the trazodone isn't working as effectively? My dr. suggested increasing the traz to 150 mg but I haven't tried that yet. Also, the dreams I am having are kind of strange, I don't really feel like I'm sleeping, yet I can recall a dream I had the next morning so I must be getting some kind of sleep. It just feels like a really light sleep if that makes any sense. Thanks in advance for any advice/opinions!

Jen
