New to this board-my sleep is changing
I'm an old-time poster to the epilepsy and headache boards but in the past six months seem to be experiencing an evolution in my sleep habits, and that is what has brought me here.
I've always considered myself a "normal" sleeper: on my side, sometimes I snore, some tossing and turning, etc. Recently, I've been doing things like sitting up or grabbing out for things- stuff I don't recall ever doing before. I know I'm doing these things because I wake up just enough to realize my body is physically active. I fall right back to sleep afterward.
My anticonvulsant dose hasn't been changed, my stress is as high as it usually is...there's nothing I can think of that would cause me to start doing this. I've had multiple head scans and EEG's and they've been unremarkable. My seizures are simple partial and I do get some nasty headaches, but that's about it.
I'm not so much worried about this as I am curious. I don't have insurance so I can't afford a sleep study.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
