my doctor just perscribed my 10 mgs of ambien to take before i go to bed. is this gonna help, or nock me out ?? just wondering so i know that i should be resting in bed, and not walking around my house all drugged up and acting weird.

I can only speak for myself when I take Ambien. I always try to take sleeping aids a half hour before I retire. With Ambien I noticed I can stay awake with little trouble, as soon as my head hits the pillow I'm out though. Hope it helps you sleep

Ambien kicks my butt. I cut a 10mg in half and I am out like a light.

Ambien is Way too addictive for me. I can't take it.
I RAPIDLY (2 weeks) got to the point where I could not sleep without it. Then, what's just as bad, I developed severe hangovers from it. So here I am with a bottle full of Ambien. Want it? I don't . Xanax is much better: much cheaper, not as addictive, no hangovers.
But that's MY body chemistry. Aster

I take Ambien about 1 or 2 times a week 0.5MG I
don't want to get hooked on the stuff
