CPAP DOES IT WORK? I THINK I HAVE SLEEP APNEA
The other day I was telling my doctor that I always feel worn out, even after sleep, he asked me if I snore, which I answered yes, My wife cant even sleep with me because she says my snoring is way too loud, My brother and I once went on a trip together and he said that my snoring in the motel room was so bad, and he said he thought that I stopped breathing a few times. Anyways im 29 and like I said I am so tired during the daytime, so weak, I even have a hard time keeping my eyes open while driving. I think I might have Sleep Apnea, My doctor wants my wife to watch me while im sleeping to see if I stop breathing, the other night I took a tape recorder and recorded my awful snoring, at points I would gasp for air it was quite noticable, my question is does the cpap machine make much difference in how you feel during the day? I have been snoring for years now according to my wife, so its been along time since i've had normal sleep habits. My daughter whom is 8 also snores quite loudly, is this also a concern in children? Any comments would be appreciated, I would like to have something to look forward to (cpap) if it really works, of course I know I have to be tested first by the doctor, anyways enuff of my babling thanks!
