Post can't sleep "normal" times & not getting enough sleep

I have been having so much trouble sleeping these past few days. I wont fall asleep until about 2-3am, sometimes even 4 and you would think I would sleep until late but the latest I ever wake up is around 10 am. I eat healthy and get a good amount of exercise so it is nothing nutritional. In addition, during the daytime around 3-4ish I get really sleepy and nap for no more than an hour. I'm so tired of not getting enough sleep and not sleeping when more normal people do Any advice? (p.s. even when I do not nap in the daytime I have problems falling asleep and sleeping until a good time)

hey!! this has been happening to me for the last four years now and i've gotten used to it though. i've been to the doctor and all i get are pills(ambien) and it does work but i just couldn't keep taking it. i try not to let it bother me though.
in your case its just been a few days so thats probably nothing.

anyway, you have to get back on a good sleeping schedule. to do this, you have to get up early regardless of when you got to bed; even if you got to bed late. if you only get 4 or 5 hours the first time you do this, the next night you'll feel sleepy earlier. for me, the earlier i get up, the better i feel all day regardless of how many hours sleep i got.
