I kind of think it might be something in your meds (if you are on any).. Maybe try to drink more caffinne and sugar to keep yourself awake. Are you taking any other meds (from other doctors) that could be interacting?
How long has it been this bad? If its just been a few weeks take a look something you changed in your diet, or routine
Maybe attempt to sleep in shifts instead of so long at night... My dad has apnea (caused by him stopping breathing, he falls asleep in the middle of sentences sometimes), he has a routine of sleep at night for 6 hours stay up for around 4-6 then take a 1-2 hour nap, then continue a routine of the same thought the day. (I am not a doctor and have the oposite of what you have, but I am telling you what he does)
Its not all bad tho!! My dad owns a multimillion dollar company so dont let this make you depressed, you will get over it or learn to deal with it in time.
You may also want to check if it is something with your hormones ot thyroid, when you are 19 your body is supposed to be awake more than sleep (normally), so it could be something like that. Go to your doctor (call them) make sure you have a list of all your meds, and also make sure to try to write down when and where you sleep... there might be a pattern. |
