For a non-drug solution, try my special meditation technique:
1) Make yourself perfectly comfortable in bed, in your favorite position (on your stomach, or your back, or your side, whichever is best.)
2) Once you are in this position you CANNOT MOVE. (or at least do your best not to move, that means no scratching your nose, wiggling your legs, etc.)
3) Begin breathing in a relaxed, regular pattern
4) Every time you breath out count, starting at 1 and trying to reach 100
5) Every time you lose count and your mind starts drifting, start all over again
Let me know if this works. You should fall asleep before you ever reach 100, unless of course you are extremely hyper. It helps if you've exercised that evening and are physically tired, otherwise you might get restless.
