cpap machine to relief allergies?
I'm wondering if the cpap machine would help with allergies & nasal congestion. I've heard that it does help for some but have the opposite effect for others.
I never used a cpap and I don't think I have sleep apnea.
But if it would help to clear my sinuses, I would use one.
I have pretty bad congestion at times, due to allergies according to the specialist.
Also my allergist said that it might work, as these machines must have some sort of filter, so what you breath in is cleaner air.
The other problem I have is that here this cpap machine is only available on prescription. I could go to the sleep clinic and get tested, but I don't think the doctor would give me a prescription if I don't have sleep ap.
Can you buy one without prescription?
If you guys could give some feedback, I'd appreciate it.
