It has been 5 weeks without a cig or even a drag of one. I am so excited!

I would only smoke when I drank or was out with Friends, but I am sticking to my guns and Quitting for LIFE! I want a kid someday soon and I don't want that Yucky stinky smell around me anymore. I started using the patch when I go out and thus far it has worked Wonderfully, well except one night. but I was really buzzed and I really wanted a Cig, but I touched the patch and inhaled like I was smoking one and the sensation went away. I need not to drink so much when I go out, but sometimes it is so easy to suck down those beers. Anyway, I am way proud of myself and had to share my accomplishment's thus far.

Hi Wanda--

Congratulations!!!! You go girl! It's nice to hear someone say they are so excited about quitting smoking too, as we don't really hear that one too much. With all the benefits that come with quitting I guess we should all be very excited tho, right!!?? And 5 weeks already? That is fantastic--awesome Wanda!!!!!

(For anyone out there considering using the patch, this is a good example of success!)

keep it going Wanda, and watch those beers, that they don't lead you to a relapse.
