Yes Kelly we've all been there done that. LOL It doesn't bother me that I was a Kelly before because my motto was "whatever it takes" to quit smoking - so be it.
I'm sure your friends and other smokers (if they've tried to quit before) or exsmokers know what you're going through. It really does consume your thoughts for the first week or so. Just hang in there - it'll get better.
Don't forget why it is that you felt so strongly about quitting - it's important that you write it down and keep it with you. Think of your skin and health. That in itself should make it easier for you. Who wants bad skin, teeth, or health?
It's really hard to not be a promoter of stopping smoking once you stop because the benefits sooooo outway smoking so when you care about people - you want them to reap the same benefits or at least not die from it.
Always remember that it's not the unsociable part to think of - it really can kill you - that is why we all quit!
Stay strong and my prayers are with you - keep coming out here - we'll support you and also read all the threads/archives - they should help you alot.
Great job Kelly
Laurie
