Hi Dave--
Yes, it seems that a lot of us get a little depressed at first when we quit smoking, nd I don't see why giving up chewing tobacco would be any different. Hang in there Dave, you're still quite new in your quit, it just takes time. Try to do something you enjoy when you're feeling that way.

Sometimes, (yes, I still get the blues over not being able to smoke sometimes, it's usually that I'm not doing anything) I can lift my mood up with some good music and get busy woth something that occupies my mind. I had a day like that last week, and took my music box out in the backyard and ended up doing some weeding of my flowerbeds, (by hand). Talk about therapeutic!! My blues were forgotton fast, and I got a bit of a tan, which always lifts me up!! I don't really know why at times I feel sorry for myself that I can't smoke, because if I was smoking, and when I did smoke, it depressed me that I couldn't quit!!
Glad to hear that the patch step down is going well for you! That's really such a small decrease, you should be okay.
Wow, day #29!!!! Way to go, DAVE!!!!!
