Re: never this bad :(

I know quitting smoking is hard. Sometimes I crave one so bad. I quit Aug 26th because of a heart attack. I use wellbutrin, zyban and the patch. Thats the only way I could ever attempt quitting. Going cold turkey for me had never worked. I tried many times. just take one day at a time. Tell yourself that the cigarettes aren't going to control your life any longer. Keep your heart and lungs healthy and live a longer happier life. It's tough but worth it. It's a one day at a time thing. Grab a sucker or piece of gum. You can do it. Just hang in there. Mama Kay

prettyboi--

Mama kay is right, some of us really need the help of a nicotene replacement aid. I was like mama, there was no way I could quit without some help too. So I quit with the help of nicorette gum and patches. (only used one or the other, at a time) Can you go get you some nic patches or gum? I think you are just dealing with the withdrawl symptoms. Hang in there, you can do it.

Re: never this bad :(

I don't know who posted the above message, but it couldn't have been me, lol. I must have taken my nite nites and forgotten to go to bed. Anyway, how are you doing now? You said you hated everyone, I'd be willing to bet they weren't to happy with you either at the moment. Quitting is tough, no doubt about it. There are times right now that I would light up in a heart beat. If i'm around a smoker and they are taking that first puff, I have to hold myself back from grabbing that cigarette away and dragging on it. I have also figured out that one cigarette is not going to be enough. get help! go to you doc and get a script for the nicotrol inhaler and another script for zyban I was a three pack a day smoler for 44 four years, I quit four years ago. have not smoked since. If I can do it blah, blah, blah.... good luck
