Paula: One month, one week, one day, 10 hours, 43 minutes and 42 seconds. 1093 cigarettes not smoked, saving $286.69. Life saved: 3 days, 19 hours, 5 minutes.
I can't even believe it's been that long!! Can you? You guys have been great - and all you newbies and lurkers out there, you too will be there soon enough. It's one day at a time.....or one hour, or one minute - whatever it takes to keep you going.
Blackwidow - 9 days is GREAT! Keep up the great work. Pretty soon you'll be saying 3 weeks, then one month, then one year!!
Karen - way to go on one month quit! I'm right behind you......
Yeay, Skimmer! You're almost at the 1 month mark, too. Everyone is doing GREAT! I'm so surprised at how fast the time has gone. Thought it would be a daily grind of constantly wanting a cigarette. What is more amazing is how many cigarettes we HAVEN'T smoked. I'm shocked to see I would have put 1491 of those things in my mouth! It doesn't even seem possible but it's true!
Seven weeks and two days!!! My gosh, I still can not believe I did it back then. I could not have done it without the Chantix, so I sure am glad it was around when I started.
We are doing soooooooooooooooooooo well!! Isn't it just great. Today is 5 weeks for me. Like someone else said: I cannot believe how quickly the time has gone by and - most amazing of all - it's like I've never smoked in my life. I can't believe it. I rarely think about smoking a cigarette and, if I do, the thought is so fleeting. I feel better than I ever have. Lord have mercy: I hope I keep on feeling like this once I'm on Chantix.
Big ole' Pat on the Back to all of us!!!
