Lower Legs...red, Tingly, Swolen

I Am Trying To Find Others With This Lower Leg Problem. I Don't Have Hair On Them At All Any More, They Are Continually Red, They Don't Feel Hot Or Cold Breezes, Just Tingly.
Is This A Sign Of Poor Circulation Or Heart Problems?
One Doc Said It Was Spinal Stenosis,another- Spinal Nerves, And Another-poor Circulation. What Do You Think?
Thanks,
STOUT

Are you sure you posted on the right board this is for quitting smoking unless your asking about side effects from chantix?

Re: Lower Legs...red, Tingly, Swolen

yes, my p.c.p. said this leg thing was from cigs. !! i don't think so either, but maybe another smoker has been told the same thing. have you ever thought that once they want you to quit, every thing you go to them for is caused by smoking? i did try chantix, i was allergic and couldn't take it, it was working tho, i cut way down. thanks for your input.

Re: Lower Legs...red, Tingly, Swolen

stoutsabout2,
I'm sorry, but I have never heard of this. I don't know what to tell you.
But if they think it is from smoking, please try to quit again. There are numerous methods out there. Nicotine Replacement Thereapy, hypnosis, laser, cold turkey, Zyban, accupuncture. I encourage you to try one.
There is a web site that you might be interested in, smokefree.gov. It has the forever free booklets you can ******** to your computer and read when you get a chance. It has got a lot of very good information on quitting smoking.

Good Luck to you on trying find out what this thing with your legs is.
