Howdy to all my friends on the board! Monday, the love of my life passed away unexpectedly - can you believe I still am smoke free? Neither can I!! I was with this lady for 13 years and she was my rock.....and I am lost, as well as her devoted dog, Sparki. It's just me and Spark against the world. If I can continue to be smoke-free after this, there is hope for all - Trust me on this. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers as I move on and and continue to dodge the 'Nicodemon'
Oh Dave, I am so sad and heartbroken for you and Sparki, please accept my deepest condolances. Please do take Sparki for long walks, it will be good for both of you. Keep coming back, we need to know how you are doing. What kind of dog is Sparki?
So sorry to hear about your loss. I am so proud of you going through all of the pain and grief without smoking! You are a strong person and I know you and Sparki are going to be alright. You never get over losing a loved one you just learn how to live with it. My thoughts and prayers are with you and we are all here for you if you need us. This is a strong and caring support group and we are all lucky to have each other. Please keep in touch.
Truly Dave, my deepest, condolences to you and Sparki.
Judging by your tag line, Doris knew you smoke-free; startin' 'em up again won't really solve anything.
Thanks for coming in here; I get the feeling that smoking came to your mind and came in here in stead. I hope there is some solace here.
I cannot imagine losing my 'rock' like that, I can only emote.
Wishing you well and comfort in the life ahead of you.
We're always here if you need a 'rant'.
I hope you kept another old sweatshirt for yourself; I find myself packing something like that when I have to leave town for a few days.
Prayers of comfort in your direction.
