Thumbs up Gave up 4 days & counting

Hi All

I've been reading this board since giving up 4 days ago, and by reading other peoples experiences of quitting and support given by all, it has helped me a great deal of staying quit.

This is my 2nd attempt of quitting, I managed 6 weeks last time which was 2 years ago, but this time for me it seems to be alot harder. I'm constantly thinking about smoking, yesterday my brother phoned me and the 1st thing I do is try and look for my cigs, it's so frustrating. Instead I reached for my sugar free sweets which stumped the craving after about 5 mins (by god them 5 mins seemed like a lifetime though...lol). Hopefully I'll do it this time, with the help of my patches, sugar free sweets and you great people from these boards.

I'll keep you posted

Evonne
PS: GOOD LUCK TO ALL WHO ARE IN THE SAME BOAT AS ME, LETS KICK THAT DEMON BUTT OVERBOARD.!!!

Congratulations on quitting EvonneMCFC!!!This is the best health decision you can ever make for yourself!!! It is difficult but worth it. Are you using any stop-smoking aids?
