After giving in to the demon I am back on the wagon

I gave into the demon for a few days after 11 weeks of quitting, yeah I know it was dumb. the objective is I am quitting and going to stay quit. Even with all the anxiety and panic issues I am done with smoking.

Re: After giving in to the demon I am back on the wagon

Congrats on being smoke free. I stopped over 10 years ago. I really made up mind that I could do it one day at a time.

Re: After giving in to the demon I am back on the wagon

Thank you all for your encouragement, I just keep telling myself I do not smoke, I just hope the withdrawls wont be as bad this time as they were the first time I am already struggling with anxiety and panic issues (meds do help).

Re: After giving in to the demon I am back on the wagon

Hotdam hi,
There will be issues during your quit. You will have difficult days and easy days. Stressful days and calm days. Quitting is a process that will one day no longer even merit your thoughts, but for now you need to hold on tight and go with the flow. Whatever happens don't smoke today. Tell yourself you will reconsider tomorrow when things are tough. Come the next day you will be pleased you held out.
GOOD LUCK

Re: After giving in to the demon I am back on the wagon

marian,
It is so encouraging when someone that has had a setback posts that they are now back on track. Thank you!!

It can be done and you are doing it!!!!
Yea!!! Almost 9 months! Wonderful accomplishment!!!!!

hotdam,
One day at a time. One hour at a time. One minute at a time.
Sometimes that's what it takes.
You CAN do it because you do not smoke anymore!! Yea!!!!!
