Hi! Congratulations on your quit! Well, I am on Day 40, and have just begun to feel comfortable with it about a week or so ago. It takes time, so just hang in there. From what I'm hearing, it's an ongoing thing for quite awhile, and we should never take it for granted and feel we've got it beat.

Good luck to you!!!

Noni it's sooo worth it just keep up a mental chant that you can do this and if you can do this you can do anything. I live in NYC and they have this quit smoking commercial that I don't know if it's national commercial but it should be it's of a man who lost his voice box to throat cancer I love to sing while I cook dinner evry night I didn't want to lose my voice or any other part of me to cancer, I also have a son whose 5 who I want to see grow up (most of the time ) Find your motivator and keep it in your head as your mental chant. I'd say once I hit the 6 month mark I knew I could really do it because I had to actually stop and think about how long it was that I had quit it'll be a year for me on June 12th and the year flew by..

Cheers and keep up the great work

Thanks Fibrana, I have read a few other replies and I can really relate to how you feel. Some find it easier other harder. Can't wait for the day.
