I haven't found that I'm bruising any easier on the Chantix than before; I've been on it for six weeks now. But, are you taking asprin while you've been on it? One of the precautions is tell your doctor if you've been on blood thinners, and asprin does thin the blood.
The dreams are common. It comes with the territory of any drug-involved smoking cessation program. Your brain is being stimulated more regularly and steadily and it causes an increase in brain activity while you are sleeping. Try taking your late day pill a little earlier. And make sure you drink a lot of water when you take it. I've found that I need to take it atleast 4 hours before sleeping and drink about 20 oz. of water with it to avoid the dreams.
