When I was sitting in my dr's office the other day I heard him tell a teenager that it takes a lung tumor 13 years from the time it starts to be big enough to be seen on xray. I found that to be discouraging. I still have 12 years and 2 months to go. I will still fight the good fight. Godbless

I do not believe this is always true. And anyway a vast majority of mokrs do not die of lung cancer, they die of heart disease. The chances of which will decrease wit time until it is no more likelt for you than or a nonsmoker. Don't u worry! You've done this wonderful, difficult thing and added many healthy years to your life.
