15mg patch down to 5mg patch

Well, just got back from the doctors, and she has put me on the 5mg patches for 4 weeks from 15mg for 8wks. I was hoping she would put me on the 10mg for 2wks then the 5mg patch for another 2wks, but she seems to be doing things differently.

I start with the 5mg patch tomorrow, I hope the withdrawals don't come back like they did at the beginning of all this. Will let you know. If they do I will be straight back at the docs, as I definitely don't want to go back to smoking. THAT IS NOT AN OPTION!!!!!!!

Will keep posting. These boards work magic when you need to vent. Thank you all for your support and inspiration.

Re: 15mg patch down to 5mg patch

Thankfully I have a doctor who would rather see me on the patch than smoking. I was off the patch totally for 4 months and had to go back on about 6 weeks ago. I will go off in another month and see what happens. I couldn't imagine from the highest to the lowest. But you can get through the cravings if you have to . You've done it before and you can do it again.
