i stopped smoking 6 weeks ago but have no energy and always tired i am on patches and inhaler has anyone else felt like this i thought when i stooped i would feel better
Hi Sharon, Sorry to hear that your not up to par, but are you drinking a lot of water that gave me engry and then with that I would exercise quite a bit. I know that it takes alot to get moving but even a walk around the block would be so helpful. If your not doing that try giving that a shot. Your engry will come back but don't get so down on yourself it takes time.
Good luck to you and congratulations on your six weeks. That's terrific.
Hi I have a little over a year under my belt. Every one needs to understand that when you quit it takes some time to detox. I didn't realy start to feel any difference for 3-4 months. whne you think about it you yrs and yrs of smoke, chemicals etc to undo so what's 4 mnths. BE PATIENT. soon you'll see that your able to run up the stairs without collapsing.
Nicotine is a stimulant so when you stop ingesting it that's what's going to happen. I'm quitting again now and all my previous attempts have involved fatigue even though I was already an exerciser. I'm on day 1 now so it hasn't hit me yet, for me it usually hit after a couple days. I plan on consuming caffeine if necessary.

Well Sharon the fatigue is starting to hit me and I'm getting pretty tired. I have the 4th off so I can sleep as late as I want but I want to work out tomorrow too.
It's great that after buying some you got rid of them. I've done that so many times and I'm determined not to do it this time.
Liamsmom, please keep reminding us of this. It's been over a month for me and I'm feeling so much worse than when I smoked that sometimes I think it's just not worth it. Knowing that sometimes it takes 3-4 months gives me something to shoot for. Thanks.
