Quit Day.

OK I actually had my last smoke at 2 pm yesterday. I only had 3 smokes all day yesterday......I went to the store a couple of hours ago and bought pretzels, gummy bears, chocolate mints and regular mints.....i am 1/2 way through the back of gummy bears. Lots of deep breathing going on here....but I really wanna quit!!!! I hope my hubby has decided to give it a go as well.....I don't know if I can handle him home all weekend smoking.....I am also really stressed today....waiting on test results.....ahhhhhh....more gummy bears.. LOL

Re: Quit Day.

This is me cheering you on!!!!!!

Keep your focus and tell yourself you are a non-smoker. No negative self talk, OK? Keep up with the breathing, but don't hyperventilate LOL.

You are on your way!

Re: Quit Day.

Way to go! You can make it thru the weekend even with hubby smoking. Mine still smokes too, but finally he quit smoking around me or in the house. that's make it a little easier. Take one moment at a time.

Re: Quit Day.

Thanks for all the support guys!!!! He will be home soon so the test is on. I asked him if he was going to try too. He said he had been thinking about it but he really thinks winter time is the better time to try and quit. I guess he is not ready and I should not push.

Yeah, you can't push anybody, we would not want to be pushed... How are the gummy bears holding up I got quite the chuckle out of your first post. Let us know how you are doing and keep posting.

Good luck in your quit

Re: Quit Day.

Glad it is going for you. You do have a sense of humor which people could use. I just love reading your post, so I expect you to be feeling up all the time and keep me laughing. Have a great non-smoking day.
