| chantix, lexapro and Xanax
I just picked up my prescription for Chantix today. I have put it off because of stress of taking care of my bedridden mother, and her passing July 28th - but I am willing to try it now. Because I have generalized anxiety disorder, and all this stress has "kicked it" into high gear, I am on Lexapro and Xanax for panic attacks. I called Pfizer, and they have done NO studies on taking Chantix with SSRI's (lexapro) or Benzos (Xanax). If they haven't done any trials, my dr. doesn't know if this will cause an interaction between the drugs or not. Has anyone taken these medications together, and did you have any reactions. Thank you so much for your input!
