1st day no cigs-hubby still smokes!! help - Smoking Cessation Message Board

hi all, I am new to the board. I have been 18hr with out a cig. I am taking Chantex. I took the pills for 8 days before putting the cigs down. I have been doing great all day untill now!! My husband is a weekend smoker and he is trying to smoke so I can not see him but this is driving me nuts!! Want a cig! But I WILL NOT SMOKE!!! I know that I can do this, it is easier with the meds.
Has anyone else tried to quite when their partner still smokes?

Yes, I did! Not easy but I wanted to win this time. Do not throw away those hours. My husband Must have secretly thought I was going to fail but I fooled him. I have been quit 5 months and he is now been quit 4 months. After I was quit a month and bugged him about it he either had to quit, kill me, or divorce me. He choose to quit! Don't give in!

thanks for the support!! I will start on him soon about not smoking!! Day 2 is not so bad, felt like crap this am but feel better now. Is it the withdrawls?
