Hi everyone,
Today is my 6 month mark of not smoking. I did have two relapses early on, but got right back to it after having such a sore throat etc. Now that I know I cannot smoke because of the physical symptoms, it makes it so much easier. There's really no choice. However, I still crave cigarettes a lot.
I avoided smokers for months, but now find that I can be around people smoking and it doesn't bother me too much.
My advice would be to keep trying if you really want to quit. Don't be afraid to use the patches, gum, inhaler, etc. longer than it says. Anything is better than smoking! I still use the nicotine aids.
Hang in there everyone! If a die-hard smoker like me can quit, with mega stress added on top the past few months, anyone can!!!! LOL
